                  What to Expect in Worship

We worship in a beautiful Sanctuary with stained glass windows, an organ, choir and hymn singing. We follow the liturgical calendar, celebrating Advent, Chrsistmastide, Lent, Eastertide, Pentecost and Ordinary Time.  Our pastor wears her robes during Holy seasons.

But, being traditional does not mean stuffy! We use our projection screen for lyrics to hymns, sermon illustrations, and to sing to a contemporary praise video each week. And when the pastor messes up, we all have a good laugh!

We believe in intergenerational worship and welcome all ages to worship together. For our early elementary children, we do offer a time for them to leave the service for an age appropriate Bible lesson.

As Disciples of Christ, communion is a central part of our weekly worship. All are invited to God's Table. Our elders and deacons, both men and women, assist with the service.

What should you wear? Whatever you want! You will find suits and ties and jeans and t-shirts. Your presence is more important than your appearance.

Come join us and see for yourself. You will be welcomed with open arms.
